Year 5 Football Tournament

On Thursday 25th October, Cabot invited year 5 players from Glenfrome and St Werburghs Primary School to our school to participate in a the first football tournament of the year.

To begin the tournament, the 10 girls and boys from Cabot introduced themselves to the players from the other schools and began practising their shooting skills using the goals in one of the courts. It was great to see the children sharing and comparing other skills they had learnt.

Once everyone was warmed up, the games began. Firstly, Cabot played a match against Glenfrome. Secondly, Glenfrome played against Cabot and lastly, Cabot played against St Werburghs. Each half was about 7 minutes long and all the players played amazingly throughout.

Spectacular start to the Cabot Sports year and well done to all the players that the took part!
