Cabot vs.
St Werburghs
It has been a great,
physical start to
the new,
sporty school year. On Thursday
8th November, Cabot played an away football match against St Werburghs
Primary School.
Eight girls and boys from year 4
were chosen. We
left school at
3:30 and walked down to St
Werburghs.
Once
we got their, the chn
had
a chance
to practise their skills before the big match. This also gave them
the opportunity
to meet their opponents and plan their strategy and formations
The game started with each team lining up and shaking hands. Once the starting whistle was blown, the Cabot players worked well as a team to defend and attack.
Although St Werburghs beat Cabot by a small amount, the Cabot team had a brilliant time and showed fantastic team work and resilience. Every single player smiled and congratulated their opponents on their achievements.
